Caught inside the narrow cage of a lived life, watching the walls constricting, waiting for the arrival of the inevitable nothing. But we were not like you. We did not go gently, we would not. Each of us sought a way beyond the confines, a world without boundaries, without restrictions. A salvation. Not the empty comforts of church or temple. We were, all of us, to smart for that. We sought a different path- the way of yawning skin laid open to the air, of cracking bone and screams and a thousand nerves pushed to their limits. The only way a man can call real without drowning himself in lies... The way of the flesh. And we found it.
