Once you've chosen a race, class, and subclass (specialization within the
class) you cannot change without going through the reincarnation process
["help reincarnation"]. Quickly, the reincarnation shrine allows you to
recreate the same character at a certain fraction of your levels. To
change your race and class will bring back the same character name at 1/2
of the previous level (rounded down). Thus, a level 9 character would
reincarnate to a level 4 character (without race or class). There is NO
way to change your character name.
