SIRENE (fey subclass) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Lo, the Mother stretched forth her divine hand, and gathered unto herself the salt spray of the Seas which she had adored, and from it she gave birth unto her Daughters of the Sea, the Sirene. The Sirene were as beautiful and as deadly as their elder sister the Will o' the Wisp, but her power lay in song instead of in the mind. And her songs were doom unto the men that heard them, and far and wide the fame of the Sirene spread amongst the sea-faring cultures of the lands. Now, the beautiful Sirene have joined their brothers and sisters of the Fey in an effort to purge the lands of Tsunami of the hated Defilers of the Mother. The Sirene are Master's of the powers of Song, and use them with great effect. Their greatest delight is to lure a defiler into the Sea and drown him in the purifying waters of the Mother. Their greatest drawback is their unfamiliarity with dry land, and as such, Sirene must use sps to traverse dry land. They have, however, developed a skill to move on dry land without using sps, but this alteration costs them in their fighting abilities.
