I toyed with the concept of giving beholders an alternative
shield spell to use that could not be used in combination with
spellburn. But in the end, i've just increased the rate at
which it can be replaced, making it somewhat viable to actually
use in combat.
I guess this makes beholders somewhat like blasting clerics, but
that's nothing new to most of you!
