Manticores!

As all things over time evolve, you have slowly adapted
to the rigorous demands of Tsunami life. Where once
you had to go through the gruelling requirements of
building, and then deploying spikes, your bodies are
now able to provide spikes on demand. However, as evolution
provides, it also taketh away. Your ability to autofire
is now a distant memory.

I have tweaked the damage formulas for spike as well. If
the result proves to be too powerful, there may be more tweaks.

In short?

- No more autofire
