Alternate entrance for HIGH strength chars: ride barovia, e, n, nw, n, lift tarpaulin, break trapdoor
Alternate entrance for SMALL chars: (during daytime) knock on door at machine, hide in wagon if small size, when wagon leaves you can 'pick lock'
Alternate entrance for FLYING characters: can fly up to the window and enter
You can wish for the head of the horseman at the wishing well. Put it on the statue and it attacks you.

Start with the flags (can lift them) - hint from Kaiban.
Can spin globe to barovia sometimes and get a scroll.
The safe blows up if you use stethoscope on it.
Things happen at different times. If stuck, you may want to wait for a bit. Some of the mobs move about the mansion but keep to a fixed schedule (at hourly intervals). You can check the 'time' in game to see what time it is. There is the one way into the mansion which all subclasses can take, but six other ways that are
subclass / stat specific. You may need the standard adventurer's equipment, which can be found at many places - e.g. Kyrse Hardware and Tool Shop. To avoid needless syntax hunting, here are most of the syntaxes used in the area. - break - close - dig - drink - eat - get - knock - move - open - spin - pick - pry - press

Other synonyms work, and you can also try to think of natural things you could be doing. There are also specific syntaxes, but there will be specific hints or verbs given for these syntaxes. You also don't need all the syntaxes to complete the quests, though they give some flavor to the area.
