Let me explain it first.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So there's this huge bug where people can lag the mud with&lt;br&gt;certain commands, such as 'score', 'balance', 'debit',&lt;br&gt;'buy', and 'mychars'. Leave it to you guys to find them, bunch&lt;br&gt;of abusers :). So here's the annoying fix I had to put in.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;When you issue these commands now, it ticks up a number by 1.&lt;br&gt;Once you've done 5 (I can change this later as necessary, of&lt;br&gt;course) it stops you from doing anymore - tells you you're &lt;br&gt;acting too fast. Every heartbeat this number oes down by 1.&lt;br&gt;So you can walk into a shop, issue 5 quick debits but the 6th&lt;br&gt;will be denied. If you wait 1 heartbeat, you can issue ONE &lt;br&gt;MORE (not 5 more). Think of it like a sliding scale that goes&lt;br&gt;up as fast as you type and then decays slowly over time.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This is going to be a huge issue for you guys who use macros&lt;br&gt;(even though they are illegal!) to buy heals and recall scrolls.&lt;br&gt;You can't just spam 'debit buy heal' 50 times, you're going to have&lt;br&gt;to instead buy 50 in 1 hit, sorry - but adjust now or die to&lt;br&gt;your enemies.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;There was this other nasty abuse which I'm surprised less of you&lt;br&gt;found out. You know how you can't do directional commands too&lt;br&gt;much - like 'east','west', etc - tells you you are moving too&lt;br&gt;fast? Well if you 'alias' one of those directions to another&lt;br&gt;word like 'east_cheat' you can do it as fast as you want.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Or rather, you used to be able to. That's fixed now too.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This change isn't going to be reversed so don' bother complaining&lt;br&gt;how it screws up your ability to PK - adjust now or you're gonna&lt;br&gt;get smoked. This change has to go in or we're going to grind to&lt;br&gt;a halt due to abusers who are lagging the mud on purpose and&lt;br&gt;PKing people.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Man, that was a hard fix to implement. :)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt; - Razan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;[[Category:Changes_Board]]</div>
