However,&lt;br&gt;this will also effect you experienced players when you reincarnate a&lt;br&gt;character. Here's how it works now:&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;When you start a new character you will not be asked to choose your&lt;br&gt;gender and race, instead, your gender will be unset and your race will&lt;br&gt;be autoset to Ethereal. You will be automatically placed in the newbie&lt;br&gt;starting area. If you haven't seen this area yet, it's very cool and is&lt;br&gt;intended to walk new players through learning to use some of Tsunami.&lt;br&gt;Yes, this means even you experienced players will ed up here when you&lt;br&gt;reincarnate.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Eventually walking through this area down a 1-way hallway (leading the&lt;br&gt;player through) you will be presented with a room that you cannot pass&lt;br&gt;until you have chosen your gender, race, and class. The class selection&lt;br&gt;being in this room eliminates the use of the 'choose' command. ALL&lt;br&gt;selection will be done from this room and only this room - period.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Upon selecting these things you will be transported to your new guild,&lt;br&gt;just like always and some help text will give you some hints about what&lt;br&gt;to do now to select a subclass. The newbie area can be revisited before&lt;br&gt;level 3 or something using the 'newbiearea' command so if a new player&lt;br&gt;gets out into the world and gets confused, he can come back and.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I'm hoping this simplifies things. Let's look at what we presented new&lt;br&gt;users right now.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Welcome to tsunami. What gender do you want? Umm... male. Nice move,&lt;br&gt;now you can't be an amazon. You didn't know that hough, did you? What&lt;br&gt;race? Umm, I dunno.. subclasses? PICK A RACE! OK, human.. jeez.&lt;br&gt;Welcome! You're a human. Go explore. Oh, by the way, if you want to&lt;br&gt;pick a class / subclass you need to use the 'choose' command.
