MYST Quest
Uzziel's advice: In the library are two books, a red and a blue. Opening them will start garbled dialogue. The object of the quest is to retrieve red and blue pages. Putting pages in the book will give clearer dialogue. Around the area itself are two torn pieces of a note that will give you a clue to opening a page location.
Around the area are and four switches. Flipping them on will activate areas on the map and allow you to turn a dial to that area. The dial will turn the tower in the library and give you a clue when you go into it after turning the tower. In the library are two pictures, one will close the out exit and open an exit to the tower, the other will close the tower exit, and open the out exit

Once all pages are put in either book, the brothers inside will give you the page number on the book of patterns in the library, and tell you how to open the fireplace. Going into the fireplace, flipping the switch, and tracing the pattern from page 159 will reveal the final pages and a green book. Putting either of the final pages in the red or blue book will trap the player for a short time. Opening the green book will introduce you to their father, Atrus. Around the island were two pieces of paper that when joined will tell you to flip the switch at the dock to get a missing page from Atrus' book. Going back to the book, touching the panel, and giving Atrus the page will finish the quest. Going there without the page traps you there.
Shortcut Instructions: CoT, in, 2w, n, open book, touch panel
Go around the area and flip all 4 marker switches. Go to the docks and flip that switch back down to open the safe. Search safe. Go to the library and
search bookshelf. Go into the fireplace and flip the switch. Trace pattern from page 169 on screen OR page 420 on screen. Flip switch. Open book, touch panel, give page
to Atrus. Done
