The surface gnomes of Tsunami, after barely surviving the goose onslaught,
have managed to rally their forces and stage a comeback. However, the
svirfneblin have decided they like the sun, and don't want to go back to
npc-only status. To add to the confusion, a third group of 'tinker' gnomes
has come out of hiding long enough to point out that they're here too.

All three clans are now 'gnomes', since they're really all the same.

ps. There's been a little confusion since i wrote this. Let me clarify:
You don't need to select a subrace; all gnomes get the same sats and skill
adjustments. The help file describes the three race concepts that have
been flying around as 'gnomes'. Our current gnomes are a combination of
all three.
