Tsunami is one of the oldest original lpMUDs in existence, having been around since at least 1990. It has a long and glorious history. Tsunami features over 20 humanoid races and several nonhumanoid races (such as Dragons, Fey, Monsters, and Horrors!). Players can choose from over 65 elaborate, detailed subclasses spread over 10 guilds. You can own a house or run a business too!

The world of Tsunami is vast, consisting of over 15,000 rooms and a massive selection of areas to explore. Many fun adventures await including intricate quests, PvP Warfare, a collectible card game, and many more metagames.

Tsunami is ENTIRELY free (donations welcome via Patreon but not required) and all coders work here for the love of the game. Recent Changes

New quest Sat, 01 Aug 2020 19:13:35 PST

As part of a Barovia sprucing up project, I have updated some room descriptions, and decided to add in a new quest (quest list 17 as of 2nd August)
There is also a new feature (only for some rooms in Barovia) -> you can type "actions" to see what you can do within the general area (not the room itself, but the rooms surrounding it, etc). This may or may not help with syntax hunting.

I alphabeticized the help file for help color.
Also, I added in some hints to Vistani Camp, and the outside and graveyard of the Burgomeister's mansion.
You can turn them on with color hints COLOR, e.g. 'color hints BOLD+WHITE'
The Vistani Camp mobs should move about properly during day and night now, so it is a good opportunity to ransack their vardos if they are not around at night.
There is also a Nether Restoration Project in the church of Barovia, making it a grand total of two such projects on the Barovian island.
Lastly, I think only Kaiban holds a Ghyath plushie, and Morgul theDarkpoole plushie. Maybe now more people will hold them? :)

The bard at the Barovia pub now gives knowledge about areas
You can go 1s from the caravan from Barovia, and buy drink for bard.
'areas progress' gives an overview of what has been done, amongst others.

Currently, am doing some tweaks to area.c, and this results in some minor changes to the ancient bard and the realm command.
The changes are localized to areas in Barovia, so let me know if anything breaks (with realm).
There is now a Barovian bard in the Barovia pub, who is slightly different from the ancient bard. If there are any suggestions to improve some of what the bard says, let me know.

colleagues, and they are concerned about his health. If he is
incapacitated, some other unlucky person will have to take his
place. Perhaps you should check on his health. The Burgomeister's
mansion can be found somewhere in Barovia.

Pyotr and Sofya have evicted the old Vistani in the Vistani camp and moved
in with their vardos. The bard might have some information about them.

I slightly modified how the character creation works, now at the end you'll be asked if you would like undertake the newbie tutorial or skip it. Skipping it loads you into the Newbie Room (w,s,w,d from cot).
Speaking of the newbie tutorial, you'll be granted 4,000 experience upon completing it + a few other changes here and there with typo fixes.
