Tsunami is one of the oldest original lpMUDs in existence, having been around since at least 1990. It has a long and glorious history. Tsunami features over 20 humanoid races and several nonhumanoid races (such as Dragons, Fey, Monsters, and Horrors!). Players can choose from over 65 elaborate, detailed subclasses spread over 10 guilds. You can own a house or run a business too!

The world of Tsunami is vast, consisting of over 15,000 rooms and a massive selection of areas to explore. Many fun adventures await including intricate quests, PvP Warfare, a collectible card game, and many more metagames.

Tsunami is ENTIRELY free (donations are not even accepted) and all coders work here for the love of the game. Many have been doing it for over a decade and we are always looking for more new talented designers. Follow the links on the left to create an account, learn to play, and connect to this great MUD.

Natives - Mercury Mon, 21 May 2012 15:38:25 PST A few natives changes:

Natives now actually gain teeth while banding.

You will get a message on your hp line when banding.

The formula for bonus teeth has changed.

Staff of Striking - Haster Mon, 21 May 2012 06:21:46 PST Is now magical...
Darkfire - Mobius Mon, 21 May 2012 05:32:19 PST Has been increased slightly
Re:pksim - Misery Sat, 19 May 2012 11:17:57 PST For those of you who pay attention, I've fixed an issue in the pksim where
levels weren't updating, and as such I've reset the pksim so the new data
collects properly. I'm nearing the end of several rather busy months, so I
will hopefully have more time to dedicate to honing the formulas behind
the potential rule changes.

For those of you wondering what I'm talking about, "help pksim".

Oh I forgot, to get this applied on your deathknight.
You HAVE to go to the guild and type 'select deathknight'
in the subclass room.
Deathknight - Mobius Sat, 19 May 2012 05:48:46 PST Stats changed - see helpfile.

Incorporeality changed:
Will now reduce strength and increase intelligence (in
addition to what it did before).

This shouldnt affect you caster types much at all
since you'll roughly end up at the same intelligence
when being incorp.
Deathknight - Mercury Fri, 18 May 2012 20:52:04 PST Soulrip, Lifeleech and Darkfire will no longer do a minimum of
50 damage per successful cast.

Mercury.
Deathknights - Mobius Fri, 18 May 2012 00:15:07 PST I've rewritten how the # of damage that is dealt
through soulrip, lifeleech and darkfire is
calculated (to make them easier to balance
and to be more in line with other
abilities).

Balance wise this should be about the same
as before, but if you notice anything
really whack, let me know.
Soulrip. - Mercury Tue, 15 May 2012 19:43:32 PST There was a minor bug in soulrip that meant it was not being resisted
properly. This is fixed. You might notice a slight decrease in
damage.

Mercury.
Natives - Mercury Sun, 13 May 2012 16:35:39 PST When using score natives will now be shown what percent of the max
teeth bonus they have reached.

Mercury.
Ram. - Mercury Sat, 12 May 2012 20:51:44 PST I have updated Ram. There should not be any noticable differences
but, if anything seems different or wrong, send me a tell or bug it.

Mercury.
