help > class > hunter Hunter (native subclass) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The wandering tribes of the Native Horde have long relied on their ability to live off of the land. Hunters are regarded by their clansmen as vital contributors in the endeavor of survival. These adept men and women are renowned for their resilience in the face seemingly impossible odds. Masters of both bow and spear, Hunters kill with keen efficiency, be their prey an animal, or an enemy of the Horde. Hunters may wield a spear and wear a shield at the same time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunters become experts at hunting certain types of prey over time. Thus, at levels 10, 19+1, and 19+11, the Hunter may learn the secrets of slaying a given class. This is referred to as a Hunter's "expertise" - when fighting classes included in his or her expertise, a Hunter will tend to be a much more effective killer. Hunters may visit the Native guild to inquire about the necessary training for honing their expertise. See "help expertise" also for more information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hunters have the following skills: attacking awareness band bow combat destruct detect toughness locate precision quickheal resistance skin spear survival track Every 5 levels, the Hunter has practiced his or her trade long enough to acquire a new skill.
