Factional desecration:

If you are dissatisfied with your choice in patron god(s), you may use the
option of ritual desecration to escape your plight.

Simply go to your patrons temple and ‘desecrate’ or ‘spoil’ the altar.

Beware that this course of action is not without penalty, since you are sure
to invoke the wrath of your (soon to be former) patron(s). Your life and your
religious standing at the very least will be forfeit.

Note: The act of desecration is not an option for those that are personally
serving as clerics at the temples.
