While suffering from this weakened state, the victim will find that the shock of taking damage will sometimes do one of three things: knock them down, interrupt them, or cause them to be disarmed. The more massive the amount of incoming damage, the more likely the target cursed with decrepitude is to be knocked down, interrupted, or disarmed.
